MyBandMate: Tell us a little more about how you formed the band and did all of the band members previously know each other?

 
ACCA/DACCA: Formed ACCA DACCA in 2000 just had an idea of putting together a GOOD AC/DC show. Advertised in the music press and after a few hits and misses the line up come together. No we did not know each other until this come together.

MyBandMate: In what year did ACCA/DACCA form? Do you remember your first gig together?

ACCA/DACCA: Jan 2000 first gig was in Brisbane @ a pub called the Jubilee Hotel June 2000 was a big night, we knew from then we were on a winner.

MyBandMate: Why did you guys choose to become an AC/DC Tribute Band?  Were all the band members AC/DC fans before the band was formed?

ACCA/DACCA: My voice sounds alot like Bons and I can also sound like Brian it just went without saying, We all love the band.

MyBandMate: Throughout your music career have you ever had the good  fortune of meeting AC/DC or any or their band members?

ACCA/DACCA:Yes  I met the boys at a gig in Sydney 1975, i was very young though couldnt think of anything more than a hi, awesome gig went out and bought my first AC DC album the next day. Still got it.

MyBandMate: AC/DC continues to sell many records today so there is a massive AC/DC following around the world. Have you performed in any other countries besides Australia? If so, what response do you typically get from international AC/DC fans?

ACCA/DACCA:Been to New Zealand 5 times now, they love the show over there always good fun, Looking @ touring other countries 2009

MyBandMate: With so many legendary songs; how do you select which songs you will play during a gig? What would you say are the three most requested songs?

ACCA/DACCA: The ACCA DACCA show goes for 2 hr 15 mins and still we cant fit them all in, we listen alot to what the audience say after the show, we like nothing better than @ the end of the show to go down and have a beer with the locals listen to the feedback.I tell the crowd not to waste their time singing out requests "they will hear them all" Havn't seen anyone dissappointed yet.

MyBandMate: What are the band's favourite AC/DC songs of all time?

ACCA/DACCA: Highway To Hell, Shook Me All Night Long, Squeeler, For Those About To Rock the list goes on.

MyBandMate: What's your most memorable tour event or best live gig and why?

ACCA/DACCA: Summernats Canberra, 25,000 watched the show and went off, Also an outdoor gig on Hamilton Island was great.Dont think we've had a bad one yet, Always a good time had by all.

MyBandMate: What upcoming gigs have you got planned for the remainder of 2008? Are you mostly touring Australia?

ACCA/DACCA: We Are touring mainly NSW regional & Brisbane Queensland for the remainder of 2008. In 2009, Acca/Dacca is touring Sydney, Adelaide and other parts of Australia, New Zealand and currently negotiating a Canadian tour & European tour.Check our Website www.accadaccarocks.com.au 

MyBandMate: From your upcoming gigs I see that you mostly play in NSW and Queensland. Do you or would you consider playing in other states if the opportunity arose?

ACCA/DACCA:Just the way it's structured @ this time, We go anywhere!!! 2009 will see Acca/Dacca tour in other states of Australia.
