MyBandMate: How would you describe your music?
POYNTE: We are Hard Rock meets British Metal, with unforgettable melodies,
driving guitar riffs, and melodic vocals.
MyBandMate: Can you explain your band's name and how you came about in choosing your name?
POYNTE: POYNTE is an acronym for, People Of Young Nature Tormenting Elderly. We got the name from the old saying: 'Rock n' Roll is the devil!' Years ago when rock was born, the older people hated it. That is what spawned the name POYNTE.
MyBandMate: How long has your band been together?
MyBandMate: Have you modelled your music after any other bands? POYNTE: No, but every member has there Individual Influences. POYNTE: When we played w/ Saliva and Drowning Pool. The crowd was insane and we fed off of their energy.

MyBandMate: Tell us a little more about how you formed the band and did all of the band members previously know eachother?
POYNTE: Matt and Josh were roommates. Chris called Matt one day and expressed
interest in starting a project. Josh knew Brian, so they gave him a call to see if he would be interested in playing in the band. Brian joined, and suggested a drummer from Kansas. Tommy moved from Kansas and joined the band. That show we all met. In the beginning we were all pretty much new friends, now we are like family.
MyBandMate: Tell us more about your latest CD and where can fans get a copy from?
POYNTE: Our first album was recorded live. We wanted people to hear us, Not a highly polished studio Recording. You can receive a copy of our Cd by E-mailing us your mailing address to po.y.nte@hotmail.com Also: Our Cd will soon be available on CD Baby, I tunes, and Amazon.com
